The upcoming Pixel Fold might be the first fully dustresistant foldable phone

Khaberni -New leaks suggest that Google's upcoming "Pixel 10 Pro Fold" could be the first fully dust-resistant foldable phone.

The "Pixel 10 Pro Fold" might come with an "IP68" rating, which would make it completely sealed to fully resist dust and also allow it to withstand continuous immersion in water, according to a report by "Android Headlines," a technology news website, reviewed by "Arabiya Business".

For comparison, the new "Galaxy Z Fold 7" from "Samsung" and "Motorola Razer Ultra" from "Motorola" come with an "IP48" rating, which means the two phones provide similar protection against immersion in water, but they are not completely dust-resistant. Instead, they are only capable of preventing the entry of objects that are 1 mm thick or larger.

The "Pixel 10 Pro Fold" will feature a smaller gap between the outer screen and the phone's hinge, resulting in a slightly larger outer screen at 6.4 inches compared to 6.3 inches in last year's model.

This year's outer screen might come with an upgrade in brightness, reaching up to 3,000 nits at maximum.

Alongside the "Tensor G5" processor with 3-nanometer technology and 16 GB of RAM, the phone might come with a new storage option of one terabyte, in addition to the current versions with 256 GB and 512 GB.

Other reports have mentioned that Google will add a battery that is 7% larger in this year's generation of its foldable phone compared to the "Pixel 9 Pro Fold," but otherwise, there seem to be no other changes.
