Khaberni -The Jordanian firefighting teams from the civil defense units that participated in extinguishing fires in Syria have started returning to Jordan after completing their mission in their respective zones of responsibility.
The Public Security Directorate posted pictures of the civil defense vehicles on their way back, commenting, "Jordanian firefighting teams on their way back after a significant heroic humanitarian effort on the Syrian coast: The brave ones passed through here."
The Jordanian civil defense teams in Syria managed to control the forest fires within the responsibility sectors assigned to them, designated for the work of the Jordanian civil defense.
The Jordanian firefighting teams worked through a tight land-based operational system implemented by the civil defense teams, with professional aerial support from pilots of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and an operational approach that started from preventing the fires from spreading to new areas, then controlling and extinguishing them, and finally cooling them down to ensure they do not reignite, addressing any minor fire outbreaks that might reappear due to winds.
