Khaberni -AI company Anthropic is collaborating with financial services firms to launch a unified interface for the AI model "Claude" to analyze market data from multiple sources simultaneously.
This marks Anthropic's first major breakthrough - a competitor to "OpenAI" - in a specific sector, namely the financial sector, and it will not be the last.
The idea is to develop an AI tool that aggregates data from multiple sources such as "PitchBook", "Morningstar", and "Daloopa" at once to answer analysts' questions, according to Axios, as reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
This paid tool will only be available to clients of the "Claude Financial Analysis" service, a financial analysis version of "Claude for Enterprise" specifically designed for financial analysts.
Users will be able to access data only from platforms they subscribe to, so if an analyst asks a question about venture capital financing but is not subscribed to "PitchBook", the answer may include data from another source, like "Morningstar".
Wall Street sees the adoption of AI-supported tools like these as a fuel for profits.
Kate Jensen, Chief Revenue Officer at Anthropic, told Axios: "How can you think about transforming the workforce with artificial intelligence... something specifically designed for a whole group of employees or an entire industry?"
Jensen added that the financial sector was the optimal choice to target, given the increasing demand from clients.
Companies will be interested in partnering with AI firms like "Anthropic", even though it could distract attention from their own platforms because such cooperation makes these firms' tools easier to use, which more clearly highlights the value of their products, according to Anthropic.
Analysts described the financial sector as a field perfectly poised for AI breakthroughs, which on the flip side could lead to job losses, especially among entry-level employees.
