Khaberni -The Jordan Exporters Association, attended by the president of the Jordanian Association for Exporters and Producers of Vegetables and Fruits, Mazen Hamarneh, held a consultative meeting on Monday with the Jordan Customs Department, aiming to discuss ways to facilitate the export procedures of agricultural products under the "National Exporter" program.
The meeting took place at the association's headquarters, attended by the Customs Dean Rateb Al-Malahemah, the advisor to the general manager, and the Customs Dean Jalal Al-Najjar, the director of the national window, alongside president Mazen Hamarneh and several members of the executive board and Jordanian exporters.
The meeting addressed the main challenges facing agricultural exporters and mechanisms to improve customs procedures to facilitate the smooth flow of exports and enhance the competitiveness of the Jordanian product in foreign markets, especially concerning the "Agricultural Export" program under the Customs Department.
Mazen Hamarneh emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination and cooperation with the Customs Department to ensure the smooth flow of exports, praising the role of the department in supporting the agricultural export sector, and noted that this meeting is part of the association's efforts to overcome obstacles facing exporters and enhance the business environment in this vital sector.
