Khaberni -Control and Inspection teams from the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, headed by their Director General Nizar Mheidat, in cooperation with the Royal Environmental Protection Administration, Shmeisani Security Center, and Shmeisani Preventive Security Center, raided a residential apartment used for the illegal manufacturing of cosmetics.
Mheidat stated in a press release that the raid resulted in the seizure of highly flammable materials used in the cosmetics manufacturing, which pose a danger to public safety.
He added that the institution has started procedures to refer those in charge of the apartment to the competent authorities to take legal action against them.
According to the statement, the head of the Pharmaceutical Inspection Department, and the head of Inspection and Monitoring at the Directorate of Medical Devices and Supplies also participated in the raid.
