Khaberni -Oil derivatives prices in the global markets rose during the second week of the current July, compared to their prices in the first week of the same month, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
According to the bulletin, the average price of gasoline (octane 95) in the second week was $686 per ton compared to the average price in the first week, which was $684, with an increase of about 0.3 percent. Similarly, the average price of gasoline (octane 90) per ton was $668 compared to $666, with an increase of about 0.2 percent.
The average price of diesel also rose from $640 per ton to $654 per ton, with an increase of 2 percent, and the average price of kerosene rose from $656 per ton to $671 per ton, with an increase of about 2 percent. The average price of fuel oil rose from $406 per ton to $412 per ton, with an increase of about 2 percent.
The average price of liquefied petroleum gas for the current July was $553 per ton compared to the average price in the previous June, which was about $578, with a decrease of about 4 percent. Also, the average price of Brent crude oil in the second week of the current July was $72 per barrel compared to $70 per barrel, with an increase of about 2 percent.
