Terrifying Video A young diver struggles with death after a dangerous jump to break a record

Khaberni -Australian youth, Vale Graham, 21 years old, suffered serious injuries after jumping from the top of Minnehaha Falls in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, at a height of 42.5 meters.

The incident occurred, according to the "Daily Mail", during Graham's attempt to break the world record for the deadly sport of diving, which is a style of free jumping that originated in Norway.

Video clips documented the moment Graham prepared at the top of the rocky edge of the waterfall, where he appeared ready to jump and executed an acrobatic twist in the air.

However, the jump turned into a tragedy when he hit the water in an undesirable position known as "pike", causing him to immediately lose consciousness.

The impact resulted in a fractured skull, brain concussion, burst eardrum, and spinal fractures.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, a safety team consisting of several monitors was present at the bottom of the waterfall, where they quickly jumped into the pond to assist him.

Amazingly, Graham regained consciousness underwater and was able to swim with their help until he reached land, then he walked more than a kilometer on foot to reach the car that took him to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgeries.

After coming out of the surgeries, Graham posted a message reassuring his followers, confirming that he will continue his recovery journey and will return stronger than before.

He considered what he had gone through as a "gift from God", according to his words, mentioning that the support he received from his friends and followers gave him a significant psychological boost.

Despite the praise for his bravery, Graham faced a wave of criticism from some followers who saw his attempt as an irresponsible risk, where some noted that taxes might be used to cover his treatment costs, while others considered his injuries were the result of his personal choices, and not a "divine gift" as he described.

The sport of "deadly diving" is considered one of the most dangerous thrilling sports around the world, where participants jump from great heights while fully extending their bodies in the air before folding into a ball or "pike" position before touching the water, while the current record for this sport is held by Swiss Lucien Charlon with a height of 41.7 meters.
