Khaberni -Manchester City has announced the signing of the largest sponsorship deal in Premier League history with German company "Puma," in a contract that extends until 2035 and is worth over one billion euros.
According to "The Guardian" newspaper, the value of the new contract exceeds 100 million euros annually, representing a significant increase compared to the previous contract, which was worth 75 million euros annually and ends in 2029.
With this deal, Manchester City becomes the first English club to sign a sponsorship contract exceeding one billion British pounds, also setting a new record for the highest annual sponsorship value among English league clubs.
For comparison, Manchester United signed a contract in July 2023 with "Adidas" for ten years worth nearly 900 million British pounds.
Liverpool also signed a multi-year contract with the same company worth nearly 60 million British pounds annually.
In commenting on the deal, Ferran Soriano, the CEO of "City Football Group," said: "Our collaboration with Puma started with the desire to excel and exceed expectations, and we succeeded in doing that over the past six seasons. Renewing this partnership today strengthens our relationship and propels it towards a brighter future."
