Khaberni -A Jordanian humanitarian aid convoy, headed to the Gaza Strip, was attacked by extremist Israeli settlers, causing injuries to several drivers and material damage to several trucks, resulting in a significant delay in the convoy reaching its destination.
According to Jordanian sources, the convoy, which departed last Sunday and included 52 trucks loaded with food in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP) and under the direct supervision of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, took more than 24 hours to cross the occupied territories, a journey that was supposed to take only a few hours.
As a result of the attacks, only 29 trucks managed to reach inside the Gaza Strip, while the rest of the trucks suffered damages along the way due to repeated attacks and harassment by the settlers.

Official sources confirmed that Jordan is continuing to provide support to the people of Gaza despite these violations, and condemns these attacks, which constitute a breach of international humanitarian law.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, the Jordanian humanitarian corridor has managed to deliver 7,815 trucks and 53 planes through El Arish and 102 helicopter flights as part of the air bridge, in addition to implementing various relief projects within the sector in cooperation with international supporting agencies.
