Khaberni -In a new step aimed at enhancing interaction between channel administrators and followers, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is testing an innovative feature for iOS system users that allows channel administrators to directly pose questions within the channel.
According to the site "WABetaInfo", which specializes in tracking WhatsApp updates, the new feature will be included in the "attachments" list inside the channel, where a new option named "Questions" will appear, allowing the admin to write a question and share it as an official update on the channel.
This addition enables anyone following the channel to respond to the question directly, providing a quick means to gather feedback and opinions from followers.
However, what is exciting is that user privacy is completely protected, as responses will only be visible to the channel administrator and will not appear to any other followers, nor can they be interacted with or seen by other channel members.
The feature, which is still under development, could pave the way for broad uses, such as polling audience opinions about channel content, finding out topics that followers may want to discuss later, or even measuring their interest in a particular event or their participation in it.
So far, no official date has been announced for the launch of this feature, but WhatsApp is expected to reveal more details in the coming weeks, according to "WABetaInfo".
