AlSafadi Jordan is ready to send hundreds of trucks daily to Gaza Strip

Khaberni -Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi began a working visit to Brussels on Monday, participating in the fifth ministerial meeting of the European Union with the southern neighboring countries.

He will also meet with a number of his counterparts and several European Commissioners.

Al-Safadi stated in press remarks before the meeting began that stopping the Israeli aggression on Gaza is a priority.

He confirmed that Jordan is ready to send hundreds of trucks daily to the Gaza Strip if Israel lifts the restrictions on the entry of aid.

He noted that the Mediterranean European neighborhood we want is one where security and peace prevail, which can only be achieved by resolving the Palestinian issue based on fulfilling the right of the Palestinian people to their independent sovereign state on their national territory.

He added that "the messages we will present as Arab countries participating in this meeting are: our priority is stopping the aggression, adherence to international law, imposing international law on everyone, and no state is above the law. If we want our region to truly be a model of security, stability, peace, and development, our region must also be a model in the application of international law."
