Trump is angry with his supporters because of the man who never dies

Khaberni -The US President Donald Trump urged his political base to stop attacking his administration regarding files related to businessman Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of sexual assault and trafficking underage girls, as the case has become an obsession among conspiracy theory believers.

The US Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation stated in a memo published last week that there is no evidence that Epstein kept a "client list" or that he was blackmailing influential figures.

They also rejected allegations that Epstein was killed, reaffirming that he died by suicide in a New York prison in 2019 and that they will not disclose any further information related to the case.

This move was met with astonishment by some right-wing influencers who have supported Trump for years, and harsh criticisms were directed at Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI director Kash Patel.

Trump expressed his surprise in a lengthy post on his platform Truth Social last Saturday, criticizing the attacks on the attorney general "who is doing a great job."

He added, "We are one team, the MAGA team," referring to his movement "Make America Great Again," adding, "I do not like what is happening, we have a perfect administration that has become the talk of the world, and selfish people are trying to damage it because of a man who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein."

Many among the "MAGA" followers claim that influential figures belonging to the "deep state" are hiding information about Epstein’s elite social class partners.

Trump supporter and conspiracy theory promoter Alex Jones wrote, "Next, the Department of Justice will say, in fact, Jeffrey Epstein never existed at all, which is utterly disgusting."

Extreme right-wing influencer Laura Loomer has called on Trump to fire Bondi over this case, describing her as "embarrassing."

Yet, Trump defended Bondi, considering what is called the "Epstein files" as nothing but a trick orchestrated by the Democratic Party to gain political advantage, saying, "Let's not waste time and effort on Jeffrey Epstein, a person no one cares about."

The US president urged Patel and Bondi to focus instead on what he called the "fake and stolen 2020 elections" which he lost to Joe Biden.

He asked to allow the Federal Bureau of Investigations to focus on this investigation "instead of spending month after month searching only for the same old documents about Jeffrey Epstein inspired by the radical left."

Trump - who appeared in at least one video with Epstein during a party decades ago - denied allegations of any direct link with him or that his name appeared in files related to his case.

The director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation stated last Saturday just hours before Trump's post appeared, "Conspiracy theories are not true, and they never were."

US media reported that Dan Bongino - a right-wing podcast host appointed by Trump as deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation - threatened to resign over the administration's handling of the case.
