Musk calls for declassification of Epstein case documents

Khaberni -American billionaire, Elon Musk responded to various posts about the Jeffrey Epstein case on the "X" platform, urging President Donald Trump to "disclose the Epstein files as promised."

After his public disagreement with the American president, Elon Musk intervened in the ongoing debate about the Epstein case, which has resurfaced, and tweeted on "X" "Seriously. He repeated the word 'Epstein' six times, asking everyone to stop talking about it," and said that Trump should "disclose the Epstein documents as promised."

The post he responded to included a screenshot of a lengthy post by Trump on Truth Social about the Epstein files, in which Trump claimed they were orchestrated by former American president Barack Obama, "corrupt Hillary," and the "losers and criminals" from the Biden administration.

Trump urged his administration officials, including Kash Patel, in his post not to "waste time and effort" on "the man who never dies."

In an earlier tweet, Musk wondered: "What kind of system are we living in, if thousands of children have been abused, the government has video footage of the offenders, yet none of them face any charges?"

Earlier on "X" Musk wrote that "Epstein's client lists have not been disclosed because Trump was listed in them," and later deleted the post.

The Epstein case has attracted wide interest due to its connection with a number of prominent global figures, including Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew. Donald Trump himself had been friends with Epstein in the 1990s before distancing himself later.

In a related development, sources revealed internal U.S. tensions about the level of transparency required in handling the file, with some officials insisting on the disclosure of all information, while the administration seems hesitant in this regard.

Businessman Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges related to sexually harassing minors and was listed as a sex offender.

He served only 13 months of an 18-month prison sentence, most of the time outside the prison under a "work release" system.

It is worth noting that Epstein was found dead in his cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Epstein's death, just 36 days after being in the Metropolitan Correctional Center, has been the subject of widespread conspiracy theories, including rumors that some of the wealthy and celebrities whose information he possessed were involved in his murder.
