Khaberni -The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization stated on Sunday that the organization had dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the World Food Programme, consisting of 50 trucks carrying essential food items, with a focus on flour.

Al-Shibli confirmed in his talk with "Al-Mamlaka" that among the convoys dispatched today were reinforcement convoys to field hospitals with the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Royal Medical Services, which will play a significant role in sending blood donations, responding to an appeal from the people of Gaza Strip.

He explained that the Jordanian Medical Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and specialized personnel, organized a blood donation campaign, where 3,000 blood units were prepared, and they are coordinated with the Royal Medical Services to be dispatched to Gaza Strip through coordination with the field hospital to reach the operating hospitals in the sector to address the blood shortage.

He indicated that the resumption of convoy operations embodies Jordan's steadfast commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to stand with the Palestinian people, where the number of convoys that have reached the Gaza Strip has reached 178 convoys with a total of 7834 trucks.
