Khaberni -Khaberni - Musa Al-Maitah, President of the Independent Election Commission, said that it is still too early to judge the political experience of the parties and that more time is needed for their evaluation.

Al-Maitah added through the program "Parliament Dome" on Saturday, that many parties began reassessing themselves after the recent parliamentary elections, indicating signs of merger among a group of ideologically and programmatically similar parties.

He pointed out that two political parties were dissolved due to organizational violations and they did not fulfill the conditions of the party law.

Al-Maitah confirmed that political modernization is a national and royal will, explaining that the Jordanian state is continuing in this journey.

Regarding the identity of Jordanian parties, Al-Maitah said that the classical representation of parties known as (right, center-right, center, center-left, and left) has not yet been achieved by the parties, emphasizing the need to allow sufficient time for the maturation of party life, even reaching higher representation in parliament and forming governments.

Regarding the evaluation of party work during the 20th ordinary session of the National Assembly, Al-Maitah stressed the importance of amending the internal system of the House of Representatives; and the need to streamline the process of discussing laws, noting that the main discussion should be by the parliamentary committees.
