Khaberni -A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that the Northern Military Region thwarted an infiltration attempt on its northern frontiers within its area of responsibility today, Saturday.
The source clarified that an individual was detected attempting to cross the borders illegally, rules of engagement were applied, and the individual was arrested and handed over to the relevant authorities.
The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are working with all their might and determination to utilize various capacities to counter such operations and prevent different forms and attempts of infiltration and smuggling, in order to preserve the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
