Al-Khabarani - The technical staff of the women's national football team, led by Portuguese coach David Nascimento, announced a list of 24 players to participate in the friendly tri-nation tournament organized by the Jordan Football Association from May 26 to June 4.
The tournament includes the teams of Indonesia and Bangladesh, as part of preparations for the upcoming Asian qualifiers in June.
The list includes: Shareen Al-Shalabi, Rond Kasab, Malak Shank, Aya Majali, Rand Abu Hussein, Noor Zuqush, Reneem Al-Dawoud, Alia Nail, Al-Anoud Ghazi, Farah Abu Tayeh, Tasneem Abu Al-Rab, Lana Firas, Lin Al-Batoush, Zeina Hazem, Tahreer Al-Qawasmi, Taqa Ghazi, Inas Al-Jama'in, Selina Akroush, Yasmin Zureiqat, Mai Suweilem, Yasmin Al-Agrab, Roozbehan Freij, Bana Al-Bitar, Maisa Jabara.
The team starts its journey in the tournament by facing its Indonesian counterpart on the evening of Wednesday, May 28, before meeting Bangladesh on Tuesday, June 3, at King Abdullah II Stadium.
The tournament competitions will be held behind closed doors, according to the vision of the technical staff of the teams, which means the matches will not be broadcast on television, in addition to closing the stands to the public.
The tournament is part of the team's preparations for participating in the Asian qualifiers hosted by the Jordan Football Association from June 23 to July 5, at King Abdullah II Stadium.
The Nashmiyat group in the Asian qualifiers includes Iran, Lebanon, Singapore, and Bhutan, where the group's top team qualifies for the 2026 Asian Cup finals in Australia.
The Jordanian Federation aims, through providing training camps and friendly matches for the Nashmiyat, to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support, to move forward in the upcoming challenges.
