Khaberni -Tell me - The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday that more than 8 million Syrians were wanted by the intelligence and security apparatus of the former president Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
The spokesperson for the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Nour El Din El Baba, stated during a press conference in Damascus that "the number of those wanted by the previous regime for political reasons exceeds eight million."
He added, "We are talking about approximately one third of the Syrian population having security restrictions wanted by the intelligence and apparatus of the former regime."
The spokesperson for the Interior confirmed that the ministry is working on settling their statuses and restoring their rights.
