Stolen Apparel Acquitting Two Individuals of Creed Violation and Convicting Them for Failing to Register
Khaberni -

The Zarqa First Instance Court issued a decision declaring two individuals not responsible for the crime of using a commercial name contrary to the nation's creed and values, after they named their shop "Stolen Apparel" in one of the Zarqa complexes.

The court announced their acquittal from the charge of requesting the publication of illegal content via the information network and social media platforms, while convicting them for using a commercial name without registering it, deciding to fine them 500 Jordanian dinars and fees each.

Given that there were no prior convictions against them, and considering this as a discretionary mitigating reason, the court decided to reduce the penalty to 250 Jordanian dinars and fees for each of them, accounting for the detention period.
