Khbrinai - The quantities of vegetables, fruits, and herbs arriving at the central wholesale market affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality today, Saturday, totaled 4358 tons, including 3322 tons of vegetables, 860 tons of fruits, and 174 tons of herbs.
According to the monitoring by the Jordan News Agency (Petra) of the central market bulletin and the price list of items supplied to the market, according to the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of black eggplants varied between 15 and 25 piasters, dry onions 10 and 20 piasters, potatoes 20 and 35 piasters, tomatoes 10 and 15 piasters, carrots 25 and 50 piasters, cucumbers 30 and 50 piasters, cauliflower 8 and 10 piasters, lemons 80 and 100 piasters, and local bananas 60 and 90 piasters.
