The number of Jordanian tourists traveling abroad increased by 3.4% in the first third of the current year compared to the same period last year, according to the latest preliminary official figures issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

According to ministry data, the number of Jordanians departing for tourism in the first third of the current year reached 528.5 thousand travelers, compared to 511.3 thousand in the same period last year, an increase of over 17.2 thousand travelers, according to Al-Ghad.
The Association of Travel and Tourism Agents had previously confirmed that the favorite tourism destinations for Jordanian tourists are Turkey in its various regions, as well as Egypt.
Preliminary data issued by the Central Bank showed an increase in spending on tourism abroad in April 2025 by 6.5% to reach $155.4 million, and recorded an increase during the first third of the year 2025 by 12.8%, totaling $646.0 million.
