Khbarani - On the occasion of the seventy-ninth anniversary of the independence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Jordanian Student Union at Argis University in Kayseri, Turkey, organized a special national celebration, generously supported by the Jordanian Embassy in Ankara.
The event was attended by many Turkish and foreign students, in addition to a visit from the university's president and several faculty members, who expressed their admiration for the high level of organization and the efforts made by the Jordanian students in presenting a civilized image of their country.
During the event, the students presented a variety of activities that expressed their love for their homeland and pride in their national identity, and their keenness to present a bright image of Jordan and its achievements, especially under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
The event included the distribution of informational pamphlets provided by the Jordanian Embassy, highlighting the history of the kingdom and its main tourist attractions, along with displays of some Dead Sea products that were specially sent from Jordan for this occasion, which were well received by the attendees.
The celebration also featured Jordanian folkloric performances and national songs, along with entertainment activities for children including face painting and gift distribution. The Jordanian red shemagh and flag were present, symbolizing pride and belonging, and authentic Jordanian coffee and Jordanian jamid were served and enjoyed by the visitors.
The students took this opportunity to extend a sincere invitation to their Turkish friends to visit Jordan and get to know its historical and tourist landmarks firsthand, emphasizing that Jordan is a country of openness, tolerance, and beauty.
This celebration reflects the high national spirit of Jordanian youth abroad and their constant dedication to represent their country in the best possible light at international forums.
