In a step that carries the meanings of loyalty and honor, the name of "Sayyid Qutb" Street in the Shmeisani neighborhood of the Abdali area in the capital Amman, was changed today, Friday, to "Martyr Abd al-Razzaq al-Dalabih Street", in memory of the colonel who was martyred while performing his duty.
Colonel Abd al-Razzaq Abd al-Hafiz al-Dalabih held the position of Deputy Director of Police of Ma'an Governorate and was martyred in 2022 after being shot in the head during his confrontation of riots in the Husainiya area of Ma'an Governorate.
This change immortalizes the name of the martyr on one of the capital's streets and reflects the state's appreciation for the sacrifices of security personnel in maintaining security and stability.
