Republican Congressman Randy Fine called for the nuclear bombing of the Gaza Strip, describing the Palestinian cause as "evil".
During an interview on "Fox News", Fine said that "the truth is that the Palestinian cause is an evil cause", commenting on the shooting incident that occurred last night, which resulted in the injury of two Israeli embassy staff while they were outside the Jewish Heritage Museum near the Capitol building in Washington, where an event for the American Jewish Committee was being held.
Fine added that "the only end to the conflict in Gaza is the complete and total surrender by all those who support Islamic terrorism," he said.
He continued: "In World War II, we did not negotiate surrender with the Nazis, nor did we negotiate with the Japanese. We used nuclear bombs twice against Japan to achieve unconditional surrender."
He added: "The same stance should be taken in this context, as there is a very deep malaise in this culture that needs to be eliminated."
