Kim Kardashian Nears Becoming a Lawyer
Khaberni -

Tell me - Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, aged 44, has completed her law program at Harvard Business School, after six years of perseverance and hard work, taking a significant step towards achieving her dream of becoming a lawyer, following in the footsteps of her late father, the famous lawyer Robert Kardashian, who was a prominent member of the defense team in the O.J. Simpson case before his death in 2003 from esophageal cancer.

Kim Kardashian celebrated this achievement with a simple family gathering in her home garden, attended by her children and some family members, amid widespread interaction on social platforms ranging from praise to mockery, according to the "Daily Mail".

Kim, who began her legal journey in 2019 through the "Law Study in a Law Firm" program accredited in California, chose the alternative path known as "reading the law," which allows students to study law under the supervision of licensed lawyers, without enrolling in a traditional college.

Despite completing the program, she still needs to pass the official bar exam in 2026, in the state of California, to become a licensed lawyer in the state.
Symbolic celebration and messages of support

Kim appeared at the party wearing a black skirt and a beige graduation cap, and her legal mentors took turns delivering speeches praising her patience and determination, affirming that she accomplished the journey "without shortcuts" despite her familial and professional responsibilities.

One of them said: "What Kim has done is one of the most inspiring legal journeys we have witnessed... She studied while raising four children, managing her businesses, filming her programs, and even attending court sessions to defend others."
CNN's Van Jones also participated in the celebration, commending her role in supporting criminal justice reform and her assistance in amnesty cases and family reunifications.

From admiration to mockery

Despite the congratulations, social media was not without sarcastic comments, as some followers pointed out that the program usually takes three years, whereas it took Kim six years, with one of them writing, "Six years for a preparatory program?!"
Meanwhile, others defended her, noting that she was building her "Skims" brand and raising her four children at the same time.

Family support and congratulatory messages

Her sister Khloe shared moments from the celebration on Instagram, expressing her pride, while Kourtney celebrated with a symbolic photo of her wearing a graduation cap.
Ivanka Trump congratulated her with a message saying: "Congratulations Kim! You did it! My favorite law graduate!"

One step away from the dream

Despite the pandemic and her busy schedule, Kim passed the "baby bar" exam in 2021, then the legal ethics exam in March, bringing her one step closer to achieving her dream of becoming a lawyer like her father.

She concluded her celebration with photos of her children during the event, including Salem who appeared in a suit eating ice cream, and she commented: "My children were there to watch me graduate... a moment I will never forget."
