Khaberni - Government Communication Minister, and government spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, said that Israel confiscated belongings, money, phones, and food items at the Kerem Shalom crossing, carried by Palestinians returning from Jordan to the Gaza Strip after completing their medical treatment.
Al-Momani added in a statement to the "Jordan Times" on Thursday, that Jordan is working to evacuate more children from Gaza and to accelerate the process, but "Israeli authorities are still creating obstacles."
He added, "The 17 children who returned with their family escorts were part of a group that included 29 patients. There are still 12 patients in Jordan because they have not yet completed their treatment."
Al-Momani reaffirmed that the Kingdom's policy is "to support the steadfastness of Palestinians in their homeland, and not to contribute in any form to their displacement."
