Khbarani - Singer Arwa was devastated the morning of Thursday, May 22, by the death of her mother after a long illness, joining her late husband who died a year and a half ago.
Sorrow hung over the fans of the artist and her followers who expressed their condolences through comforting messages on social platforms.
The artist's mother had suffered a health setback recently, which required her admission to the hospital for treatment.
She remained there until her demise, amid prayers for recovery from her daughter’s audience. In April, Arwa posted a photo of her mother on her Instagram account, asking her followers to pray, writing at that time: "Prayer changes fate, I entrust you a duty to pray for my mother, may God ease her pain and remove her burdens.. Amen".
This sad event in Arwa's life comes a year and a half after the passing of her father in December 2023.
Arwa had mourned her father then with a poignant message posted on Instagram, which read: "And give glad tidings to the patient, who when afflicted with calamity say: 'To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return'.. With more acceptance and surrender to the will of Almighty God, we announce to you our beloved deceased, may God forgive him, the late Salem Ahmad Umairan, his sons Ahmad and Ayman, and his daughter Arwa."
