Khaberni - The Department of E-marketing and Social Media at the Business College of Middle East University explored ways to develop the concept of digital marketing and update curricula to keep pace with rapid market transformations.
This came during an interactive meeting that brought together a group of representatives from companies and institutions in the digital field, alongside faculty members of the department.
The meeting discussed future challenges of marketing profession and the importance of integrating advanced digital skills such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and content creation into the core educational process.
The meeting, sponsored by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Sharbati, and chaired by the Department Head, Dr. Hanadi Saleh, focused on the necessity to develop practical training tools, and expand partnerships with industry institutions to enable students to engage in real work environments, which contributes to honing their skills and preparing them for competition in the job market.
The attendees concluded with a number of practical recommendations, most notably involving market experts in delivering specialized lectures, adopting joint application projects between students and companies, and establishing knowledge exchange platforms that contribute to renewing scientific content and directing it towards the needs of the local and regional markets.
