Khaberni - Manchester United's captain, Bruno Fernandes, confirmed that he does not intend to leave this summer, but he admitted that the club might be forced to sell him after the painful loss in the Europa League final against Tottenham.
The British news agency PA Media reported that 30-year-old Bruno Fernandes was one of the few shining lights in a disastrous season at Old Trafford, but his brilliance faded after the loss to Tottenham.
Fernandes' name has been linked with a move to the Saudi team Al Hilal, which has led Ruben Amorim to affirm that the club's administration must maintain one of the world's best players.
However, losing the Europa League title could have financial implications for the team, and the loss means that the team will not participate in any European tournaments this season, which raises new questions about the future of the team captain due to the lack of participation in European championships.
Fernandes said: "I have always said that I will stay here until the club tells me that it's time to leave. I am eager to achieve more, and I want to be able to bring the club back to its former glory."
He added: "On the day the club thinks they no longer need me or it's time to leave, and that's the nature of football, you never know what could happen, but I have always said this and I stand by my word in the same way."
He continued: "If the club thinks it's time to leave, because they need some money or for any reason, so be it, and football becomes like this sometimes."
Fernandes joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and won the "Sir Matt Busby" award as the best player of the season for the fourth time, a record he shares with Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea.
